Many business owners on Norris Lake face challenges this year as new Tennessee Valley Authority regulations threaten to increase the cost of doing business.
“TVA’s creating obstacles for our economy,” E. L. Morton, director for the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce, said Monday. “We’re going to have to be (even) more creative to keep our customers in a competitive environment.”
Most marina owners are experiencing a 1,000 percent rate increase, Flat Hollow Marina owner Gary Farwick said in January.
