Mayor and Aldermen prepare for repairs

The Jellico Board of Mayor and Aldermen recently debated the liability and funding for the repair of the Jellico roadway.

The state and engineers are being contacted about the work and the amount of any contribution, according to Alderman Alvin Evans who expects a response within the next 10 days.

Mayor Forster Baird said the charter states the property owners are liable for the repair and maintinance for the right of way.
