McGhee pleads guilty

A 65-year-old man originally charged with sexual battery has seen a reduction in charges.

Last week Bobby McGhee plead guilty to assault by offensive touching. He was ordered to pay court costs and to have no contact with the victim, the plea agreement said.

McGhee stood accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in November 2007, according to the arrest warrant.

It said McGhee allegedly assaulted the girl from behind, telling her he wanted to marry her.
