Storms brought thunder, rain and winds through Campbell County Monday.
“We were kind of dreading them (winds),” said Linden Shelton, with LaFollette Utilities operations.
Storms came through Campbell County around 5 a.m.
“Wind got up pretty good,” Shelton said. However, during the afternoon, when weather.com put Campbell County under a wind advisory, winds only blew at about 25 miles per hour, Shelton said. And the winds didn’t cause outages, Shelton said.
