Mongar leads Jacksboro and LaFollette officers on chase

A LaFollette woman’s alleged attempts to duck authorities proved to be fruitless.

According to Jacksboro Police Chief Danny Chapman, his department received a call last Friday reporting that Leann M. Mongar, 31, of 827 South Cumberland Avenue, had allegedly stolen merchandise from a local electronics store.

As Jacksboro officers began searching for Mongar, LaFollette Police Officer Joe Brown was notified she was entering the city of LaFollette.
