The Campbell County Artist Association will have its regular monthly meeting on March 12 at 7 p.m. The group will meet at the West LaFollette Recreation Center in the Chanoitt and Carroll Studio. Enter through the front of the school, second entrance, and first room on left. Please bring a work in progress so that we can all be working on some sort of project.    Refreshments will be served. For more information or directions please call Karen Cumorich at 562-8468.   Buzz Buffington will be the speaker at the March 12 Clinch River Trout Unlimited meeting.  Buffington will make a presentation on a trip he and several chapter members made to fish Alaska's Kenai Peninsula.   Unless otherwise noted, the chapter meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Norris.  For more information, visitwww.crctu.com.   The East Tennessee Human Resource Agency (E.T.H.R.A) will distribute commodities on March 13 from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at West LaFollette School in the back of the old kitchen part. Eagles #4363 will have Karaoke by Ronnie and Ellen on March 13 and 14 at 8 p.m.   The Campbell Culture Coalition announces the Campbell County premiere performance of the play, Between a Ballad and a Blues,the story of Campbell County native, Howard “Louie Bluie” Armstrong. The original play, written by Linda Perris-Bailey and performed by the acclaimed Carpet Bag Theatre ensemble, is scheduled for March 13, 7 p. m. at the LaFollette Middle School Auditorium. Young.   Community Health of East Tennessee will offer Divorcing Parents Class on March 14 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Jacksboro City Hall. Registration forms are available at the Administrative Office in Jacksboro. Pre-registration is $30. Registration paid on the day of the class is $40. Call 563-1040 or 562-1156 for more details.   The Christian Academy of Campbell County will host a spaghetti dinner on March 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. sponsored by Fazoli’s. The tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the school or by mailing a check to the school and the tickets will be held at the door. The menu will be spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, bread, cheesecake and a drink.   Look Good, Feel Better® is for women in cancer treatment. Community Health of East Tennessee, sponsors services for the Look Good, Feel Better® program. The class offers hands-on tips for make-up and wig care and styling tips for women in cancer treatment. Ron Broyles, an adventurer, will speak about his exciting challenges.    The 2008-09 Leadership Campbell County will host an awareness breakfast for Celebrate Recovery on March 20 at 7 a.m. at First Baptist of Jacksboro. Dinner will be from 5 to 7 p.m. and auction starts at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $7 per donation with net proceeds going to the Shriners Hospital for Children.   Cove Lake Hiking Club will hike the Smokey Mountain Segment of the Cumberland Trail on March 21. The group will meet at Jacksboro Middle School parking lot at 9 a.m. For more information or reservations contact Richard Helm at 562-1110.   Cumberland View Baptist Church will begin revival March 22 and going through March 25. Brother Sampson Ridenour will be preaching on Sunday night and Brother Travis Baker will be preaching the next three nights. The purpose of the county convention is to elect the leadership for Campbell County Democratic Party, including chairperson, vice-chairperson, treasurer, secretary and a male and female district chairs from each Campbell County electoral district. Also, the Campbell County Democratic Party by-laws will be reviewed and adopted. Contact Jennifer Holt at 562-2700 for more information.   Anyone needing forms for filing income tax for 2008, an ample supply is available at the LaFollette Public Library. These are for filing purposes only. We have no employer forms such as 1099's, etc. The library does not provide assistance for filing taxes and we cannot answer tax questions, but we are happy to provide forms for you.   AARP Tax Aide counselors Charles Gladwell, Pearl Randall, Dan Panzaru and David Green will be available to do tax returns at the LaFollette Public Library. They will do taxes returns every Thursday morning starting Feb. 5 at 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, continuing through April 15.
