Campbell County Chamber of Commerce Coffee will be held Dec. 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 17 at First National Bank in Jacksboro in the main lobby.   LaFollette Middle School Band will be performing a medley of holiday songs with the chorus singing a selection of Christmas carols and the drama club performing “The Sneetches’ Christmas Lesson” on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. Tickets are $3 for adult and $2 for children.   Christmas Story Time for children at Caryville Public Library. The library is hosting its 2nd annual Happy Birthday Jesus Party on Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. Sing Christmas carols and listen to the beautiful story of Jesus’ birth as told through flannel board. Birthday cake and refreshments will be served afterward. Everyone is welcome. This event is sponsored by Friends of Caryville Public Library. If you would like further information, please call 562-1108. Library hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., closed 1-2 p.m. for lunch.   Cumberland Mountain Eagles will have karaoke by Just The 2 of Us on Dec. 18 and on Dec 19 will be the Christmas Party with music by Whiskey Springs.   Community Health of East Tennessee Clothes Closet will be open Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All items will be free for the remainder of the month of December. There will be a 25 cent charge per item in January. There is a need for children’s winter clothes donations.   The next meeting of the Clinch-Powell Regional Library Board is 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2010 at the Clinton Shoney’s (I-75, exit 122). Alcoholics Anonymous meets at the Jellico United Methodist Church, 204 Fifth Street, Jellico, on Mondays at 7 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous meets Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays each evening at 8 p.m. as well as Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at 2119 Jacksboro Pike, LaFollette in the Campbell County Unity Association building. Alcoholics Anonymous also has a hotline, 1-800-905-8666. Al- Anon for the families of the alcoholic meets Tuesdays at 8 p.m. The meetings will take place at 2119 Jacksboro Pike, LaFollette in the Campbell County Unity Association building.   Celebrate Recovery meets Thursdays at 6:15 p.m. for a light meal and 7 p.m. meeting at the First Baptist Church Jacksboro.
