The Campbell County Artist Association will have its regular monthly meeting on April 8 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Chaniott and Carroll Studio in the West LaFollette Recreation Building. A telethon to benefit the Campbell County Cancer Association will be held on Saturday, April 10 from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. on WLAF – Channel 12. Funds collected in this annual telethon will be used to assist cancer patients with travel vouchers, medicines, food supplements, and medical supplies. Viewers are urged to call-in pledges in memory or honor of family and friends. All monies collected stay in Campbell County to assist cancer patients directly.
