No date set for driver station closure

Two weeks after initially saying that the LaFollette Driver’s Station was not on the list to be closed, the Tennessee Department of Safety revealed that a merger of the Campbell County office is on the table.

“As part of our Customer Focused Government plan, we are considering merging various driver service centers across the state. The LaFollette Driver Service Center will merge with the facility at 704 North Charles G. Seivers Blvd. in Clinton,” said an email from department of safety public information officer, Dalya Qualls, on Tuesday.
