A LaFollette man has managed to evade authorities after committing a host of crimes.

According to LaFollette Police Lt. Jeff Allen, the Campbell County Sheriff’s department was initially called to investigate a domestic complaint involving David Odell, 31, of 607 South 19th Street and his girlfriend.

When deputies arrived on the scene Odell fled.

The victim then sought refuge at her sister’s house, which is located in LaFollette, Allen said.

LaFollette Police officers became involved in the case when Odell allegedly took the victim from her sister’s house a gun point.

While the victim eventually got away details of her escape are still under investigation, Allen said.

Odell is charged with accessory after the fact, three counts of reckless endangerment, especially aggravated kidnapping, three counts of domestic assault, possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony and carrying or possessing a firearm by a convicted felon.

As of press time Odell remains at large. Persons with information regarding his whereabouts should contact the LaFollette Police Department at 562-8331.
