Program offers aid to elderly

The Elderly Home Repair Assistance Program is offering aid to older homeowners in Campbell County.
The purpose of the program is to repair homes for elderly homeowners so they can continue living in them.
In their service area, ADFAC helps about 17 people every year with the Elderly Home Assistance program. The program has been operating for about three years.
This year, $30,000 was received for the Elderly Home Repair Assistance Program, said Cindy Ross, from Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties.
