Benefit Singing for Relay 4 Life at Coolidge First Baptist Church will be held March 25at 7 pm. Donations accepted. The singers are Stanfield Church of God Choir, Vanessa Dupuy and Bobbie Archer with the New Freedom Community Baptist Church Choir and Amy Leach with the Willow Brook Baptist Youth Choir. 


Relay 4 Life Bingo will be held March 31 at Jacksboro Middle School at 6 p.m.


People’s Bank of the South will be holding a bake sale with the proceeds being donated to Relay 4 Life on April 1. Purchase a chance to win Super Twang tickets at People’s Bank of the South for $2 a chance.


On April 1 DeRoyal will be sponsoring a basketball game at Valley View Elementary School for Relay For Life. The games will start at 5 p.m. and the last game will be at 8 p.m. The 7 p.m. game will feature the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department vs. the county commissioners/ school board members. Concessions will be served.


On April 2 DeRoyal will be sponsoring a flea market, which will also include games for the children. The Easter bunny will be present and pictures will be made.


New Horizon Baptist Church is having a Gospel Singing for Relay 4 Life on April 3.  Lunch to follow. Donations are being accepted.


Kasi’s Café and Sugar Shack have joined together for a fish dinner to benefit Relay 4 Life. The dinner will be held at Kasi’s Café on April 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. for $12 a plate complete with drink and desert.


Relay 4 Life will be holding a road block in downtown Jacksboro on both April 9and April 30from 9-11 a.m.


ORNL Federal Credit Union will have a car wash/yard sale/bake sale at McDonalds on April 16from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to support Relay 4 Life.  Car washes will be on a donation basis.  Yard sale items and baked goods will be individually priced. 


ORNL Federal Credit Union will present a 5K Run/Walk on April 30 at Jacksboro Middle School  with the proceeds going to Relay 4 Life.  Each walker/runner will contribute $20 to enter the 5K.  Please pre-register to receive a tee shirt by April 15 at the LaFollette ORNL Federal Credit Union Branch. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and the walk/run begins at 8:30 a.m.  Age categories include Kids 12 and under, Women, Men, and Seniors.  First place in each category will receive $25. 


The LaFollette Housing Authority Relay 4 Life team is collecting photos through May 2 of cancer survivors and love ones who have lost their battle with cancer.  A video slide show will be created from the photos.  To enter photos, please send the photo with a $5 donation to: The LaFollette Housing Authority, Attention: Relay Photo, P.O. Box 392, LaFollette, TN  37766 or drop the photo off at The LaFollette Housing Authority between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and ask for Dena Miller or Tina Goodman.   Please write on the back of the photo the name of the person pictured, if they are a survivor or a lost loved one, date they were told they are cancer free or passed away, and a phone number to contact you.  Please include a self addressed stamped envelope if pictures are to be returned.  DVD’s will be available after the Relay 4 Life to purchase for a $10 donation.
