Reckless driving was one in a list of charges levied against a LaFollette man last week.
On Sept. 22 LaFollette Police Officer Tony Rucker was dispatched to look for a motorcycle that had allegedly been spotted driving recklessly.
When Rucker spotted the motorcycle driven by Roger Lee Reynolds, 18, of 122 Brooke Place Lane, Apartment 3, traveling north on South Avenue at a high rate of speed.
After losing sight of Reynolds temporarily, Rucker was able to locate him on Old Jacksboro Highway as he continued to drive at excessive speeds.
Reynolds was allegedly caught attempting to hide the motorcycle behind dumpsters at Brook Place Lane.
A check of Reynolds’ name and date of birth revealed that he did not have a motorcycle license and that the tag on the motorcycle he was driving was expired, the LPD report said.
Reynolds was arrested and charged with reckless driving, violation of the financial responsibility law, failure to carry and exhibit driver’s license on demand, no registration and no driver’s license. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 2.
