Riggs Pharmacy robbed at gunpoint

Police are investigating the robbery of a LaFollette pharmacy.

Last Thursday around 5:30 p.m., an armed man entered the hospital branch of Rigg’s Pharmacy demanding oxycontins, according to the LaFollette Police report. Holding the nickel-plated snub-nosed revolver sideways, the man allegedly made his demand at least three times. After being told by the pharmacist there were no oxycontins in stock, the thief then changed his plan.
