9:30 a.m. Line Dance Class

11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.—Lunch: pork chops, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, rolls, dessert

6 p.m.—Snack bar; hamburgers and hotdogs

7 p.m.—Live music jamboree with Junior & Friends. $5.

Friday

10 a.m.—Bingo by Summit View

11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.—Lunch: cat fish, onion rings, slaw, hush puppies, dessert

Noon—Senior exercise with Charlotte or Rose

Monday

10 a.m. to 3 p.m.—Senior Helping Hands class

11:15 a.m.—Lunch: lasagna, garlic  bread, salad, dessert

Noon—Senior exercise with Charlotte or Rose

Tuesday

9:30 a.m.—Line dance class

11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.— Lunch: meat loaf, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, rolls and desserts

1 p.m. to 3 p.m.—Diabetes class. Free to public; call center to pre-register

Wednesday

9 a.m.—Gospel Singing by the Senior Group Singers

10 a.m.—Bible study with Lynn Albright

10 a.m. to 3 p.m.—Helping Hands class                                                                                     

11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.—Lunch: grilled cheese sandwiches, French fries, slaw and desert

Noon—Senior exercise with Charlotte or Rose

Bingo by Senior Solutions

11:15 a.m.to 12:15 p.m.—Lunch: hot dogs with chili, onion rings, baked beans, dessert

Noon—Senior exercise with Charlotte or Rose

 

Activities at the Senior Center are partially funded by the LaFollette Medical Foundation, County Mayor’s Office, Campbell County Commission, Tennova, First Trust and Savings Bank, United Way, Terry’s Pharmacy, Riggs Drug Store, Dixie Concrete, Baird Tree Company, JL Computer’s and donations from the public. The Senior Center is open daily Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. for daily events. Lunch is prepared and served daily from 11:15 a.m.  to 12:15p.m. Reservations for lunch must be made one day in advance. There is a van pick-up for those who do not drive. The Friendship Center is open for Thursday night events 6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Inman’s Transmission and donations from the public.
