Several guns stolen to allegedly purchase narcotics

LaFOLLETTE—Stolen guns sold to buy narcotics ended in charges for Tashiena Jewell Hill, 1112 Back Valley Road, LaFollette.
The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation after a LaFollette man reported that several weapons and a Case pocketknife had been stolen from his home.
Through the investigation, it was found that Hill’s brother and boyfriend broke into a house to steal weapons.
Then, she accompanied her boyfriend to sell the stolen guns to Joe Lindsey for $200.
Hill allegedly admitted to using the money to purchase narcotics for herself and several other individuals.
Hill was charged with violation of probation, theft of property more than $1,000 and there was a bench warrant out for her arrest.
This was her 10th booking at the Campbell County Jail.
