Share salvation

Do you think we should share our faith? Why? In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus gave the disciples something called, “The great commission.”
And Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, “All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
Acts 2:42 tells us, “They continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine, and fellowship, and in breaking of bread and in prayers.”
I have heard over the years that the disciples, (apostles) turned the world upside down sharing the gospel. I like to put it as turning the world right side up. Do you think that the world is right side up? Do you think that after the apostles passed away that there was no need to share Christ with the world? No—just the opposite. Many lost their lives sharing Christ. We are supposed to tell others about the wonderful saving grace and the hope we have in Christ.
Christ’s final words after he told his followers to go to Jerusalem and pray for the infilling of the Holy Ghost Acts 1:8, “ But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
I have read that 500 people heard Christ’s words, but only 120 obeyed.
In John 14:15 Jesus said: “ If you love me keep my commandments.” Surely telling the world, or sharing Jesus is a Commandment.
In Paul’s preaching to the Romans in chap. 4:23-25, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; Being justified feely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus; Whom God hat set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past…” [King James Version]
The New International Version states verse 25 like this: “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” How wonderful is that?
We must accept Christ. I read that only redeemed sinners can tell lost sinners about Christ. We must share our faith. Acts 4:12, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.”
Someone shared their faith with you, with me. How can we not? I have always appreciated the opportunity I have had for over 35 years to share the Gospel of Christ. I hope I get to do so for many years to come. There is never a lack of something good to write about Christ.
I have shared many things about my family. We have had good things, sad things happen in our family… but you know what? We have always had the love and promises of Jesus Christ that always seen us through them. I will be real honest with you, I don’t know how anyone can survive in this world on their own. We don’t have to! You might try it for awhile, but there is no security in depending on your own abilities. Why should we share the plan of salvation? We may not have to go unto all the world… We have friends and family.
God Bless.
