Sheriff’s deputies negotiate man to surrender gun

A standoff between sheriff’s deputies and an armed man led to an arrest recently.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to 2155 Pinecrest Road in Jacksboro in late February, where Donald Bradley Shown was threatening suicide, said Campbell County Sheriff Gary Perkins.

Shown, 29, lives next to relatives. Many of Shown’s relatives have orders of protection against him.

“His entire family has an order of protection pending a mental evaluation,” said Perkins.
