Getting caught slashing tires left a LaFollette woman flat last Friday.
In the early morning hours of July 10 LaFollette Police Officer Tony Rucker responded to a vandalism call on West Cherry Street.
The victim reported seeing Erica Elaine Trett, 25, of 324 Vowell Road, Briceville, and Stacey Darlene Adams, 36, 1149 Jacksboro Street, Lake City, running from his vehicle.
The pair allegedly fled the scene at a high rate of speed in a blue Oldsmobile, according to the victim’s report.
An inspection of the victim’s vehicle revealed the two passenger side tires had allegedly been cut. The victim stated that the vehicle had also been keyed, the LPD report said.
Trett and Adams were later located on South Indiana Avenue where Trett allegedly admitted to cutting the tires and her right index finger in the process.
The pair was arrested and Trett was charged with vandalism over $500 and giving false information. Adams was charged with volation of probation, 6th offense driving on a revoked license and vandalism.
Both are scheduled to appear in court on July 24.
