SPORTS NOTES — June 16

The inaugural Officer Greg Cox Campbell County Cancer Association Benefit Softball Tournament will be held June 17-18 at Asbury Park in Caryville.On June 17, games will start at 6:30 p.m. On June 18, tournament play will begin at 9 a.m. Entry fee per team is $150. The tournament format will be double elimination. All proceeds will go to Officer Greg Cox’s family and to the Campbell County Cancer Association. The benefit will be hosted by the Jacksboro Police Department. For more information, contact Jeremy Goins at 423-494-2195.
