The annual Rotary Club/Campbell County Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, May 2 at The Greens at Deerfield.
Tee time is 1 p.m. for the four-person scramble, with a shotgun start.
The entry fee is $525 per team, includes cart fee, range balls and a light meal during the awards ceremony. Entry deadline is Wednesday, April 25. Each team must have a handicap of no less than a combined total of 30.
Prizes are $750 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd place, $250 for 3rd place and $100 for a mystery place.
Additional prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin on selected par threes and longest drive on a selected par five.
Also, a significant door prize will be awarded.

The Jellico High School softball team has scheduled several fundraising events. On Saturday, April 14, there will be a 16-inch softball tournament and baseball tournament. Tryouts for the Tennessee Havoc, a traveling basketball team, will be held on Tuesday, April 3 at 6 p.m. Players can be no older than 11 by Aug. 31, 2011.
