Stolen gun led to drug charges

A couple soliciting work from door to door, netted charges of theft and felony possession of paraphernalia.

Last Wednesday, the Caryville Police Department investigated a theft at a residence. The victim allegedly agreed to hire Keith Young, 33, and Tammy Leann Nash-Young, 29, both of Caryville, to do a roofing job.

“The couple had been there for a couple days, pretending to do the work,” said Caryville Det. Stephanie Smith.
