Sub-sectional defeat sends Eagles home for the season

Ethan Simpson and Ethan Miller turned in spectacular performances Friday night during their final basketball game for Jacksboro Middle School.

Simpson poured in 20 points and Miller had 15 in a 64-53 sub-sectional loss to Union Grove, formerly known as William Blount Middle.

The loss eliminated the third-seeded Eagles (13-9 overall) from the tournament.

Eagles’ guard Jordan Kindred was injured during the game and finished with six points.
