JELLICO—Two juveniles have been charged after bomb threats at Jellico High School on Jan. 31 and Feb. 5.

Last Wednesday, a 14-year-old male student told school officials he had found a note in the boy’s bathroom that stated, “This school will be bombed at 10 o’clock on 2/5/14,” according to reports from the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.

During the investigation, police found that the juvenile who said he found the note was also allegedly wrote it .

Further investigation into the Jan. 31 incident revealed that a 16-year-old female student had written a note on a bathroom wall that said “bomb at 11,” because her friend wanted to get out of school early, reports said.

Both juveniles were taken to the Knox County’s Richard L. Bean Juvenile Detention Facility.
