Third annual Coats for the Cold accepting donations in Jellico

Barrels around Jellico will soon be filled with coats, hats, scarves and gloves to make winter a little warmer for area residents.

“No one should have to go cold in the winter time,” said Doris Stiers, one of the event organizers.

Citizens are encouraged to donate their gently used coats and other winter gear at one of several locations in Jellico including Jellico City Hall, Union Bank, Jellico High School, and the Save A Lot grocery store.
