For most people a family gathering is done around a table, but for three men it involved going to jail. Edward J. Robinson, 24, of 209 Cherry Street, LaFollette, Daniel Lee Robinson, 22, of 195 Hill Lane, Caryville and Brandon Albert Robinson, 28, of 209 Cherry Street, LaFollette are charged with theft over $1,000 last week
According to a warrant obtained from the general sessions court, on July 19 a trailer located on Clear Lake Drive in Jacksboro was broken into and property from the trailer was stolen. During the investigation a witness came forward telling police she had bought some of the stolen property from the trio.
Detective John Long with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department interviewed Daniel Lee Robinson cousin to Brandon and Edward Robinson, Daniel Robinson allegedly stated that he, along with the other two individuals had broken into the property on Clear Lake Drive and stole the items. He also stated that they took some of the property to a pawnshop the following day to sell for money. The trio is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 1.
