The elementary commandment of “thou shall not steal” escaped two LaFollette men last weekend.
On Saturday evening LaFollette Police Officers Rick Ford and Odell Bailey were called to a West Kentucky Street address to investigate a burglary that had occurred earlier the same day.
During the investigation it was determined that Aaron Coleman Crowley, 18, of 772 Davis Chapel Road, and Michael Charles Russell, 20, of 5253 General Carl Stiner Highway, allegedly entered the residence in question without the owner’s consent and took a number of items including a Smithfield Wesson Modell 66 357 Magnum handgun and a Playstation 3 video gaming device.
Both Crowley and Russell were arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property. They are scheduled to appear in court on May 29.
