Jellico Alderman Mike Johnson addressed the Jellico Electric and Water Board as a representative from First Volunteer Bank of Tennessee last week.
“I am here petitioning the utility board is to start bidding out the general funds on a yearly basis,” said Johnson.
As a representative for First Volunteer Bank, Johnson spoke to the board about the advantages of bidding the funds yearly, saying the market is more competitive and the utility could get a better return for investments.
