A LaFollette man is facing multiple charges after agents with the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) arrested him on Saturday.
Dustin Ward, 23, 1512 Back Valley Road, LaFollette, was in the Royal Blue Wildlife Management area when a TWRA agent made contact with him. After a search was conducted, Agent Ken Gibson found Ward had what he believed to be drugs in his possession, the arrest report said. Specifically, a white powder substance was discovered inside a light bulb. A small straw was also found, the report said.
Along with this Gibson also said in his report Ward had small handgun in his possession.
He has been charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of weapon in wildlife management area. Ward is scheduled to appear in court next month.
