There seems to be so many people today who are worried and fretful about so many things. There are things in life that to weigh us down and concern us. Be sure if you alive and breathing, you will at some point in your life have sickness, heartache, and feel despair. We are humans and these things come to all at some point in our life.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to tell you there is hope and you can claim this hope if you trust in Christ.
And if you are not then please accept him into your heart and like and don’t pass up the greatest opportunity you will ever have. It doesn’t cost a penny, it is free, the price has done been paid. Why would you or I miss it?
God loves us with such love that we cannot serve two masters for either we will hate the one and love the other or else we will be loyal to one and despise the other you cannot serve God and mammon (this word means riches). We are not to worry and fret about being cared for in this life if we trust God.
Christ continues with these precious promises in Matthew 6:25-34, they are from NKJV and I felt like writing them all. Some don’t realize the peace and love they inherit from the Heavenly Father. “Therefore I pray unto you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; not about your body, what you will put on is not life more than food and the body more then clothing. “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap, nor gather into barns; yet your Heavenly father feeds them Are you not of more value then they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature.” “So why do you worry about clothing, consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; the neither toil, nor spin. And yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed (dressed) like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is thrown in to the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O, ye of little faith.”
Verses 31-32 tells us to not worry about what we shall eat or drink or what we shall we wear for your Heavenly Father knows what you have need of.
Verses 33-34 are priceless, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
You see we are not told we would never have problems, but we are given assurance about handling them. First we have to live according to 1 Cor. 10: 1-12 then we can claim verse 13, “There hath no temptations taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape.”
The most important thing I personally can do is to share this great hope.
Foot Note to my readers: yes the new picture is me- cameras are so honest. The old picture was 25 years old. Thanks to all of you for letting me share Christ. It has been over 35 years. Thanks Susan for letting me continues to share. God is so good!
