CARYVILLE—A traffic stop led officers to recover a bag of methamphetamine and 15 pills from a female suspect.

While on patrol Friday a deputy with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office stopped Angel L. Cooley, 36, of Jacksboro, near the Travelodge hotel for having a headlight out, according to the arrest report.

During a search of the vehicle, the officer found a bag of white powder believed to be methamphetamine, 15 white, oval pills, a scale and coffee filters containing a white powder that appeared to also be meth, records show.

Cooley was arrested and transported to Campbell County Jail. She is charged with possession of a schedule-III controlled substance, violation of light law and driving while revoked.
