God intended the Christian to have a heart for serving

         For you brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another (Galatians 5:13).

  Nathaniel: What you see is what you get

“Jesus saw Nathaniel coming to him and said, ‘Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!’” (See John 1:45-51, RSV).

One writer has described Nathaniel as “the absent-minded professor among the 12 . . . the mystic, the other-worldly man….” 

 God worked it out for the employer to hire both of us

         “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Preparing Today for Tomorrow

          I believe there are many people who love God and think about turning to Him but keep putting it off. That is not a good decision. There used to be signs at different locations across out eastern states, most often it was a cross, it read, “Be Prepared.”
