I have been studying about the importance of prayer. When the disciples realized they needed more strength to do their work, they knew Jesus spent much time in prayer. One of the disciples asked Jesus, “Lord teach us to pray.”

Matt. 6:9-13 gives this model prayer, “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our father which art in heaven, hallowed by thy name

    Thy kingdom come.

They will be done in earth as it is in heaven.

    From a Mothers Heart
We are to live in anticipation of Christ’s coming

When we think about the mystery of the rapture; we need to understand the nature of Christ’s coming, the suddenness of Christ’s coming and to prepare for Christ’s coming (see 1 Thessolonians 4:13-18 and 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11).

  • What do we see in this world that is not tangible? Last week I wrote about the things that are tangible. Things that can be touched, things that are substantially real; something that can be touched or felt.

The word of God and the promises found in the Bible for all who seek fellowship and a closeness with Him, is the most tangible thing we have. Personally, to live in this world without depending on Him, would absolutely be one of the most terrifying things I can imagine.
