    From a Mothers Heart
    We are to live in anticipation of Christ’s coming

    When we think about the mystery of the rapture; we need to understand the nature of Christ’s coming, the suddenness of Christ’s coming and to prepare for Christ’s coming (see 1 Thessolonians 4:13-18 and 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11).

  • What do we see in this world that is not tangible? Last week I wrote about the things that are tangible. Things that can be touched, things that are substantially real; something that can be touched or felt.

    The word of God and the promises found in the Bible for all who seek fellowship and a closeness with Him, is the most tangible thing we have. Personally, to live in this world without depending on Him, would absolutely be one of the most terrifying things I can imagine.

    Whitman Hollow Bible Church will have its annual bible conference Oct. 19 - 21 at Galilee Bible Camp. Services are as follows: Friday at 7 p.m.; Saturday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.; Sunday at 10 a.m.

     

    Revival

    Indiana Avenue Baptist Church will have revival on Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Services Oct. 22 – Oct. 25 will be a t 7 p.m. Nursery is provided for babies up to three years.
