    Oneda Wilson Campbell

    Oneda Wilson Campbell, 80 of LaFollette, went home to be with her Lord on Dec. 4 at the UT Hospital. She was born October 25, 1928 in LaFollette. She worked many years in sewing factories both in LaFollette and Knoxville. She became instant friends with all her coworkers. All that knew Oneda loved her. She loved her church. She was a loving wife and mother that loved her family. She was the wife of James ”Jaybird” Campbell for 61 years.

    Charlotte Ruth “Polly” Best

    Charlotte Ruth “Polly” Best, 72 of Powell, formerly of LaFollette passed away Dec. 16 at her home. She was a member of South Clinton Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star Clinton Chapter. She was retired from TVA and known as Chicken on the CB Radio. She loved flowers, gardening and her cats.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, William D. “Bea” and Charlotte Hutson Sharp; brother, Paul James “Jim” Sharp.

    Aaron Tommy Ayers

    Aaron Tommy Ayers, 71, of LaFollette, passed away Dec. 27.  He was a member of Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church.  

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Eullalia Ayers; half brothers, Addison, Ira Ayers and Leo Hatmaker; half sisters, Mary Myers and Rose Jordan; brother, Bill Ayers; sister, Hannah Chadwell

    He is survived by his sisters, Geneva Collingsworth and husband, Frank, Jr., of LaFollette; Aileen Huckelby and husband, Eugene of Palmetto, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

    Luseana Bishop

    Luseana Bishop, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 15. She was born May 6, 1916 in Morristown and was a long-time resident of LaFollette. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bishop; brother and sister in law, Otsie and Helen Crawford; sister, Luvenia Crawford; son in law, L.T. Mowell.
