    Wanda P. Spencer, 56, of Jellico passed away April 20 at Methodist Medical Center.

    Wanda is survived by husband of 33 years, Michael Spencer; daughters, Nikki Douglas and husband, Billy of Jellico, Angie Hartman and husband, Eric of Williamsburg, Ky, Jenny Homes and husband, Dennis of Cincinnati, Oh; brother, Andrew Westberry of Chesapeake, Va; sisters, Gloria Bugalo of Cincinnati, Oh, Virginia Rathbun of Aurora, Co; several grandchildren.

    Evelyn Heather Campbell McCulley, 72 of LaFollette died April 21. 

    Preceded in death by husband, Howard McCulley; parents, Jerry Franklin and Bessie Marie Heatherly Campbell.

    Evelyn is survived by son, Jerry Campbell of Speedwell; daughters, Sheila Campbell Lovett of Scott County, Shirley Frances McCulley of LaFollette.

    Funeral services were held April 25 in the Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. LeRoy Braden officiating. Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

    Ken Bean Jr., 46 of Lake City died April 24.

    Preceded in death by grandparents, Rev. Lawrence Bean and Joyce Bean; grandmother, Ruby Holder.

    Ken is survived by parents, Rev. Kenneth Bean Sr. and Betty of Lake City; daughter, Trinity Bean of Lake City.

    Funeral services were held April 26 in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. J.J. Patterson and Rev. Verlen Langford officiating. Interment was in the Anderson Memorial Gardnes.

    Jones Mortuary LLC was in charge of the arrangements.

    Deloris Marie Lay

    Deloris Marie Lay, 72, of Somerset, Ky formerly of Lake City died April 18.

    Preceded in death by parents, Houston and Vivian White O’Shell; husband, Frank Lay.

    Deloris is survived by sons, Scott Lay, Stephen Lay and Jason Lay.

    Graveside services were held April 20 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

    Rev. Francis Long

    Rev. Francis Long, 84 of Elk Valley passed away April 15 at his home.  He was born September 16, 1926 in Pioneer.  He was a member of Stanfield United Baptist Church.  He retired from the United States Army after 22 years of service.  He was a member of the Arlie Long American Legion Post 154 in Elk Valley.  He was also a 32nddegree mason.

    Brenda Kaye Hatmaker Riner, 61 formerly of Jacksboro died April 17.

    Preceded in death by father, Marion Hatmaker; mother, Gladys Bullock.

    Brenda is survived by son, Clark Widener of Knoxville; daughter, Amy Riner of Clinton.

    Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. on April 20 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. David Seiber officiating. Interment will be at 12 p.m. on April 21 in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. before funeral services.

    Becky Renee Frazier Loveday, 32 of Jellico died April 16.

    Becky is survived by mother and father, Larry and Tammy Frazier of Duff; son, Tyler Loveday of LaFollette; daughters, Candace Loveday of LaFollette, Paige Loveday of Jellico.

    Graveside services were held April 18 in the Owens Family Cemetery with Rev. Lewis Reynolds officiating.

    Billy Lavon Hamilton, Sr., 63, of Jacksboro died April 15. 

    Preceded in death by father, Otis Hamilton.

    Billy is survived by wife, Brenda Hamilton; sons, Jason Hamilton, Ryan Hamilton, both of Jacksboro, Billy Lavon Hamilton, Jr. of Clinton; mother, Edna Hamilton of Goshen, In.

    Funeral services were held April 17 in the Cross-Smith Chapel with Rev. Junior Dople and Rev. Kenneth Brown officiating. Interment was in the Peabody Cemetery.
