    Larry Taylor

    Larry Taylor, 57, of Caryville passed away March 5.

    Preceded in death by daughter, Amanda; father, Lawrence Taylor; grandparents, Charles and Roxie Taylor; great-grandmother, Bessie Eubanks; best friend and special brother, Jim Griffin.

    Larry is survived is by wife, Bonnie Taylor; daughter, Jessica Taylor; grandchildren, James Lawrence and Bella Taylor; mother, JoAnn Reed; grandmother, Lillie Fraizer; sisters, Rita Taylor, Donna Thomas, and Machell Ensey; half brother, Mike Dove; a host of nieces and nephews.

    Iva Sue Robbins

    Iva Sue Robbins, of LaFollette, passed away March 8 at Mercy Medical Center St. Mary’s Knoxville. She was of Baptist faith and US Army veteran. Employed at Cumberland Village for many years and formerly worked at St. Mary’s Health and Rehab. She was a beloved co-worker of many.

    Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Cora Miller Robbins and infant sisters.

    Iva is survived by cousin, Roy Lough.

    Gladys P. Miller

    Gladys P. Miller, 83, of LaFollette entered her eternal rest on March 11, at NHC in Oak Ridge.  Born February 6, 1928 and a member of Coolidge First Baptist Church.   Gladys retired from the Campbell County School system after 33 years of service.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed. 

    Preceded in death by parents, E.H. and Callie Boshears Miller; brother, Elmer Miller.

    Leon W. (Lil’ Buddie) Trammell

    Leon W. (Lil’ Buddie) Trammell, 84 of LaFollette died March 9.

    Preceded in death by parents, Marion Trammell and Zoella Silcox Trammell Harrison.

     Leon is survived by wife, Treba Trammell of LaFollette; children, Walter Lee Trammell of Fayetteville, Debbie King of LaFollette, and Ella Mae DeVore of Oneida.

    Robert Eric Riffey, 42, of Lake City died March 8.

    Preceded in death by parents, Robert Ernest and Wanda Lee Bunch Riffey. 

    Robert is survived by son, Eric Riffey of Lenoir City; daughter, Brieanna Riffey of Lenoir City.

    At his request, Eric was cremated.

    Stephen “Steve” McCoy, 54, of Lake City died March 8.

    Preceded in death by father, Randall McCoy.

    Steve is survived by wife, Lake Owsley McCoy of Lake City; daughter, JoAnna McCoy of Lake City; mother, Martha Pike McCoy of Lake City.

    Funeral services will be March 12 at the Beech Grove Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kenny Sharp officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Beech Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

    Rosa L. Leisring, 91 of Jellico died March 6.

    Preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Mary Lawson Collins.

    Rosa is survived by sons, Charles R. Chambers and Robert L. Chambers.

    Funeral services were held March 11 in the Cox and Son Chapel with Rev. Leonard Siler officiating. Interment was in the Lot Cemetery.

    Cox and Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

    James L. King, 63, of Clinton died March 8.

    Preceded in death by parents, Carl W. and Margaret F. King. 

    James is survived by wife, Sharon Scarborough King; daughters, Cindy King and Tracy Waddle.

    A celebration of life service was held March 10 at the Covenant Life International Church with Pastor Tony McAfee officiating.

    Hatmaker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

    Ben Hensley, 73 of Speedwell died March 7.  

    Preceded in death by father, Robert Jarvis Hensley and mother, Lillie Mae Marsee Hensley.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on March 12 at the Speedwell Church of God with Rev. Leonard Ellison and Rev. Joe Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. before funeral services. Interment will follow in the Hensley family cemetery.
