    Daisy D. Daniels

    Daisy D. Daniels, 86 of LaFollette died Feb. 8. 

    Preceded in death by husband, Luther T. Daniels.

    Daisy is survived by children, Doris Walden of Ft. Myers, Fl, L.T. Daniels of Greeneville and Jane Ann Lavender of Kingston.

    Funeral services were held Feb. 11 in the Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in the Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.

    Walters Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

    James Mack Viles

    James Mack Viles, 78, of Clinton died Feb. 8.

    Preceded in death by parents, Virgil and Opal Moore Viles; son, Mark Edward Viles; previous wife, Francis Viles.

    James is survived by sons, Neal Viles of Clinton, Larry Viles of Clinton, Ricky Viles of Clinton, Tim Viles of Caryville; first wife, Wilma Jean Smith Viles of Clinton.

    Funeral services were held Feb. 11 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Norton officiating. Interment was in the Leach Cemetery.

    Donald Ray Harmon, 70, of LaFollette passed away Jan. 27. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family. 

    Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Helen Harmon; grandparents, Manune and Eliza Harmon; brother, Tommy Harmon and a very special aunt, Della Harmon.

    Tony Allen Crutchfield

    Tony Allen Crutchfield, 55 of Caryville passed away Feb. 2 at Mercy Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a long time employee of Scot Oil Company. Tony was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and nephew.  He loved riding motorcycles.

    Preceded in death by father, Archie Crutchfield.

    Rosetta Byrd, 88 of LaFollette passed away Feb. 7, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of New Canaan United Baptist Church.

    Preceded in death by husband, Kermit Byrd; mother, Lora Webb Crabtree; father, Ewell Crabtree; daughter, Alberta Byrd; sisters, Dorthy Martino and Della; brother, Herthel Crabtree; son in law, Stan Fraley; sisters, Edith Love, Ruth Bolton and Ethel Crabtree; brother, Jerry Crabtree.

    Mildred Bourff, 78, of LaFollette, died Feb. 4.

    Preceded in death by son, Cecil Glen Bourff; parents, Ralph and Ruby Beavers.

    Mildred is survived by husband, Cecil Bourff; sons, Donald Bourff, both of LaFollette, Steve Bourff of Knoxville.

    Funeral services were held Feb. 8 in the Cross-Smith Chapel with Rev. Leroy Braden and Rev. David Burchfield officiating. Interment was in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.

    Cross-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

    Mary Ruth Paul

    Mary Ruth Paul, 69, Kokomo, went to be with her Heavenly Father at 11:06 a.m. on Jan. 2, at Howard Regional Health System. Mary was born June 22, 1941, to the late Chester “Hubert” and Viola Brown. Her marriage to the love of her life for 50 years, William Junior Paul, was on July 3, 1958. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2007. She was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly. She loved going to church, loved gardening and most of all loved her family, grandchildren, and friends.

    John Paul Rutherford

    John Paul Rutherford, 23 of LaFollette went to be with our Lord and Savior Feb. 5 at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. He enjoyed being a great father. John Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed the outdoors, computers, gaming, and many other activities.

    Preceded in death by grandmothers, Carrie Harmon and Fleda Wallace; grandfather, Roy Wallace; mother in law, Patricia Shears.
