  • Criminal court plea agreements

     The following cases were resolved with plea agreements in criminal court:

    •Randy A. Partin- manufacturing meth; three years judicial diversion, $1,000 fine, $1,500 contribution to LaFollette Police Drug Fund

    •Michael Wayne Miracle- felony possession of drug paraphernalia; three years judicial diversion, three years probation, court costs, $1,500 fine

    •Donald Vaughn- promotion of meth manufacture; sentencing to occur Feb. 6

  • Lloyd appears in criminal court

      James Lloyd probably won’t be getting any babysitting jobs.

    On Tuesday he was arraigned for child neglect, simple possession of marijuana, simple possession of drug paraphernalia.

    He will appear in court again next month.

    Lloyd’s legal issues arose in early December 2011. Just weeks before Christmas, a child that was to be under his supervision was found wandering the downtown LaFollette streets.

  • January 2012 Indictments

    The following indictments were returned last week by the Campbell County Grand Jury:

    *Brandon Lobertini, violation of financial responsibility, two counts unlawful possession of a weapon with intent to go armed, possession of a prohibited weapon, speeding.

    *Whitney Walden, no true bill.

    *Brandon Lobertini, Russell McGhee, aggravated burglary, theft $1,000-$10,000, vandalism $1,000-$10,000, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance (McGhee), making a false report (Lobertini), initiating a false report (Lobertini).

  • Shubert says ‘not guilty’ to attempted murder

       A woman claiming she was going to stop her alleged attacker from hurting other women has wound up in court.
