Soon after Montclair representatives visited Jellico, the extension request for their use of the Taylor Machine Shop came before the board of mayor and aldermen.
At the board’s meeting Thursday night, it unanimously approved Montclair’s request for extended use of the building.
When the current board originally renewed the agreement, it had required Montclair pay $15,000 for use of the building. Montclair has paid $10,000. In lieu of the remaining $5,000, Montclair requested it pay $3,000 in order to renew the agreement through Sept. 30.
