  • Child found wandering at festival; mother arrested

Supertwang may have been a bust. But one festivalgoer had enough fun to allegedly forget about her child and get herself arrested.

On Friday evening around 6 p.m. Campbell County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Freddie White along with Det. Lt. Brandon Elkins and Det. Sgt. John Long went to the festival grounds to investigate reports of a small child wandering around the festival unsupervised.

  • Supertwang employees "will be paid"

It was suppose to be one of the best country music festivals around.

What it turned into was an event cut short because of  low ticket sales and rampant concern nobody was going to be paid.

These two factors working with in tandem with the beer distributor pulling its support contributed to the demise of Supertwang, according to its promoter.

  • On Higher Ground

Do you really think He would leave you on your own?

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.
The LORD will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O LORD, is everlasting” (Psalm 138:7-8).

  • From a Mother's Heart

Learn to listen to the voice of God

Throughout the scriptures God’s people heard him speak but refused to listen, refused to acknowledge what he said, and refused to obey and act upon it. We must learn to listen. Listen to wise counsel from others. Listen to God. Listen and learn. Then you will be better equipped to know how to live when you are bombarded with innumerable voices.

Leviticus 26:21 NIV, says, If you remain hostile toward me and refuse to listen to me, I will multiply your afflictions seven times over, as your sins deserve.
