The following is a weekly summary of the fishing conditions on Norris Lake as reported by creel clerks from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA).
The lake level on Friday, April 8 was 1,014.70 feet, which is four feet higher than the previous week.
There is considerable floating debris in the Clinch and Powell rivers. Boaters need to exercise caution at all locations, but especially on the upper half of the lake.
Surface temperatures range from 53 to 60 degrees depending on time of day and location.
