Tuesday night, the LaFollette City Council voted to rehire Paul Begley, the former project manager for the library.
The council also agreed to pay him $2,000 to oversee the completion of the new library.
“I’m real pleased to be back,” Begley said Wednesday morning.
Begley had quit as project manager in late April. At the workshop on May 29, while interim city administrator Cade Sexton was reviewing the library project, Begley handed him a list of items needing completion.
