  • We need to have a battle plan

Our enemy would want us to believe that if we have problems, or things aren’t going well in our lives at the time, the God does not hear us.

That is a lie from the devil, Satan, our enemy or whatever you choose to call him. He is real and very active, especially when he sees our doubt.

  • The powerful influence of a quiet and peaceable life

“You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven”(Matthew 5:13-16).

  • Knowing and doing the will of God

“. . . My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt” (See Matthew 26:36-42, RSV).

Sincere Christians are genuinely interested in knowing and doing the will of God. A great pastor once said, “To know the will of God is the greatest knowledge, and to do the will of God is the greatest achievement.”

  • How strong is the faith of mothers?

The second chapter of Exodus tells us of the faith of the mother of Moses. His mother’s name was Jochebed (Exodus 6:20).

The king of Egypt had given the order that all the Hebrew baby boys that were born should be killed by throwing them into the Nile River.

We read in Hebrews 11:23, It was by faith that Moses’ parents hid him for three months. They saw that God had given them an unusual child and they were not afraid of what the King might do.
