Crowds trickled in and out during Saturday afternoon as country and bluegrass music boomed from the gym at West LaFollette. The annual Bluegrass Breakdown is CASA’s largest fundraiser of the year, and this year was no exception.
The Court Appointed Special Advocates raised over $12,000 with the help of corporate donations.
Local businesses gave about $8,000 to the organization. The event auction and sales brought in close to $4,500.
“This is fantastic,” said CASA of Campbell County Executive Director Renee Tackett.
