Cumberland Gap High School’s boys fell into the same trap Friday night that have claimed many victims the past couple of basketball seasons.
The Panthers (4-3 overall) played right into Campbell County’s hands during a 91-76 loss at home. The Cougars set a season high for points this season while winning for the third time in five outings.
“We got them to play our tempo, and it was our type of game,” said Campbell County coach Barry Jones.
“The last thing we want to do is slow it down.”
