Senior forward Nick Litton scored 17 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked a pair of shots Friday night to help the Campbell County High varsity boys’ basketball team avenge an earlier loss to Cumberland Gap.
Playing at home, the Cougars (7-9 district, 16-11 overall) defeated the Panthers 61-53 in overtime to end the regular season on a high note. The victory helped take some of the sting out of district losses to Knoxville Central and Karns last week, both of which were on the road.
“Central was a tough game,” Housley said.
