    The Humane Society will hold its monthly meeting April 21, 7 p.m. at the LaFollette Recreation Center.


    The Campbell County Democratic Party will have a potluck supper and business meeting on April 21, at 6 p.m. at the West LaFollette Community Center. Members and supporters are asked to bring a covered dish. Call (865)617-3313 for more information.


  • Pleas

    The following criminal cases were resolved last week with the use of plea agreements:

    •Rebecca Leigh Lorenz- two counts reckless aggravated assault; judicial diversion for six years, six years supervised probation, court costs, restitution to victims to be determined on Sept. 26.

    •Samantha D. Hargis- three counts theft over $500, three counts aggravated criminal trespassing; judicial diversion for three years, three years supervised probation, restitution to victims to be determined on May 2, court costs, $225 to ECF.

  • Relay for Life events

    Linda Kilgore’s State Farm Office will be holding a two day yard sale benefiting Relay 4 Life on April 22 from 8:30-5 and April 23 from 9-12.  This will be held at the State Farm Office located next to Home Federal Bank.

    The Walmart Relay 4 Life Team will be selling Peanut Butter Easter Eggs and Coconut Easter Eggs as well as selling hot dogs from 10-2 on April 23 at Wal-Mart in LaFollette.
