  •  Death is always a separation that brings ensuing sorrow and grief to the family or loved ones that are left behind. The departure of our loved ones in Christ can only be softened by Jesus’ presence and by God’s Word. The Lord promises to be with us and comfort us. Mathew 5:4 – “God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted” (NLT).

  •            “Judge not, that you be not judged” (Matthew 7:1). That verse is one of the most misapplied passages in the entire Bible. It is not unusual for a Christian to drop all discernment and blindly trust an untrustworthy person or tolerate gross immorality on the basis of this verse.

  •    “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be uninformed (See 1 Corinthians 12, RSV).

Jesus answered and said unto her, “whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again; but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” John 4:13-14.

In talking with the woman at the well, Jesus spoke of life-giving water. The water of the world can never satisfy the void in the heart of any lost person.
