  • Passing the baton of faith to the next generation

  • There are some questions science just cannot answer

Christopher Hitchens is dying.  He is in the final stages of cancer.  He is British.  He is intelligent and well-educated.  And he is an avowed atheist.  The influential writer assures us that if he experiences a death-bed conversion, it will simply be the cancer spreading to his brain.

Unfortunately Hitchens has bought into the widely prevalent belief that science can answer all questions, including the origin and meaning of life.

    Bad news travels fast.

  • It’s good to be back home again

After packing our bags full of clothes, snacks and who knows how many other things, my sister from Knoxville and I headed out the door last week for the long 550 mile trip to Pennsylvania to attend our Arentz family reunion.
