As good jobs continue to evaporate in Campbell County, the unemployment situation almost certainly will get worse before it gets better.

A loyal LaFollette Press reader came into my office Friday and told me that gossip is one of the biggest threats to our community.

Last week, a LaFollette Press reporter received a complaint from Jellico’s first lady, Doris Stiers, about its news coverage of the beleaguered town.
